It's more judicious to wait and unlock when it's safe: Dr Om Shrivastava, Maharashtra Covid Task Force member

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Maharashtra Covid Task Force member Dr Om Shrivastava said that it's more judicious to wait and unlock only when it's safe.

When asked can a state like Maharashtra afford an extended lockdown, Shrivastava said, "Rather than jump into a process that you will find difficult to reverse, it's more judicious to wait for a little while, keep all players into confidence and unlock only when it's safe. It's better to err on the side of caution."
