Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the updated Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 86,500 (Delhi). Positioned as a more premium and tech-loaded version of the popular commuter motorcycle, the new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 receives updated styling, enhanced connectivity features and great fuel efficiency aimed at everyday riders.

The motorcycle continues to be powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine that produces 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. Hero claims the motorcycle delivers fuel efficiency figure of 72kmpl, aided by its Advanced Programmed Fuel Injection (APFI) technology and the brand’s i3S idle stop-start system. The bike also features an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) for quieter engine starts and smoother restart operation in traffic conditions.

Visually, the new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 gets a refreshed design with dual-tone graphics, XTEC 2.0 badging, a 3D emblem, stitched dual-textured seat and sporty rim tapes. Hero says the motorcycle has been designed to appeal to younger and more progressive commuter buyers while retaining the practicality associated with the Splendor nameplate.

On the feature front, the motorcycle now comes equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can access incoming call alerts, SMS notifications, missed call alerts, caller ID and phone battery status directly on the console. The bike also gets Hero’s Real Time Mileage Indicator (RTMi), low fuel indicator and a 2A USB Type-C charging port for added convenience.

Safety equipment has also been upgraded with the addition of hazard lights, a first for the Super Splendor range. The motorcycle is further equipped with a front disc brake and a handlebar-mounted engine kill switch to improve rider convenience and safety during daily commutes.

Hero MotoCorp has also focused on rider comfort with a wide upright handlebar, relaxed ergonomics and a long seat designed for both rider and pillion comfort. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks, while a wide rear grab rail enhances pillion support over uneven roads.

The new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 is available in five colour options — Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue and Matt Chestnut Brown — and is now available across Hero dealerships in India.
