Pati Patni Aur...box office Day 6: Film sees weekday dip, nears Rs 40 crore globally

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do posed Rs 2.75 crore nett in India on Day 6 as its run stayed steady. The latest numbers took its worldwide gross to Rs 37.42 crore, keeping it on track for Rs 40 crore before the weekend.

Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has continued a steady run at the box office despite mixed reviews from audiences and critics. After a decent opening weekend, the film is now nearing the Rs 40-crore mark worldwide ahead of its second weekend.

While the comedy entertainer opened well in cinemas, it did not go past the Day 1 collection of its predecessor Pati Patni Aur Woh, which starred Kartik Aaryan in the lead. The film saw a strong weekend surge, but its weekday collections dropped.

Da 6 box office collection

According to box office tracking website Sacnilk, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do collected Rs 2.75 crore nett in India on Day 6 across 5,559 shows. This was a 21.4 per cent drop from Tuesday's collection of Rs 3.50 crore nett.

With the latest figures, the film's India gross collection stands at Rs 32.07 crore, while its India nett total has reached Rs 27 crore.

Overseas and woeldwide performance

In the overseas market, the film earned an estimated Rs 60 lakh on Day 6, taking its international gross total to Rs 5.35 crore. Its worldwide gross collection now stands at around Rs 37.42 crore.

At the current pace, the film is expected to reach the Rs 40-crore mark globally before the weekend.

Meanwhile, apart from Ayushmann, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, Vijay Raaz, Guneet Singh Sodhi, Durgesh Kumar, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Vishal Vashishtha, Shireesh Kumar Sharma and Deepika Amin in key roles.
