Amid the tensions between the Assam and Mizoram clashes at the interstate border on July 26, the Assam chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, has been booked by the Mizoram police on charges of attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy.
Alongwith the chief minister, four senior Assam police officials, two bureaucrats and 200 unidentified Assam Police personnel have been named in the FIR.
