Karunanidhi reacts to Kanimozhi's arrest

The house of the DMK supremo bore a gloomy look as daughter and Rajaya Sabha MP Kanimozhi was arrested in connection with the 2G scam.

Kanimozhi was arrested along with Kalaignar TV's Sharath Kumar on charges of being a co-conspirator in the 2G spectrum scam.

The DMK patriarch will now seek expert legal opinion on securing a bail for Kanimozhi.

Ex-Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Karunanidhi maintains that his daughter Kanimozhi is not at fault and has been falsely accused of the CBI in the 2G spectrum scam.

The DMK general council will now decide on the continuance of ties with Congress which is an ally both at centre and state levels.
