Ready to pay more for your favourite Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Kia, MG cars?
Automakers are planning to increase the prices of their cars from January 2025.
Mass market players like Maruti Suzuki India, Hyundai Motor India, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Kia India, JSW MG Motor India and Nissan Motor India are planning to hike car prices in January 2025.
The carmakers said that they are hiking prices owing to a rise in input costs. Also, the commodity prices have increased, in addition to higher operational expenses, adverse exchange rates and a jump in logistics costs.
The Maruti cars will see a price jump of up to 4%. The hike will vary depending on the model.
Hyundai will hike the prices of its cars by up to Rs 25,000.
The Tata cars will become expensive by up to 3%.
The Mahindra SUVs will witness a price hike of up to 3%.
Kia has announced a price hike of up to 2% on its cars.
The MG cars are set to get a price hike of up to 3%.
