Lamborghini delivers first Temerario in India, marking arrival of hybrid supercar era
Automobili Lamborghini India has delivered the first Temerario in the country, marking the arrival of its next-generation hybrid supercar. Replacing the Huracán, the 907bhp HPEV combines electrified performance, advanced technology and everyday usability.

Automobili Lamborghini India has delivered the first-ever Temerario in the country, marking a significant milestone in the brand's electrification journey and ushering in a new era of hybrid high-performance supercars. Priced at Rs 5.87 crore (ex-showroom), the Temerario succeeds the iconic Huracan and becomes the second model in Lamborghini's High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) line-up after the Revuelto.
Hybrid powertrain
At the heart of the Temerario is an all-new 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with three electric motors and a 3.8kWh battery pack. The hybrid powertrain develops a combined output of 907bhp and 800 Nm of torque.
The V8 engine alone produces 789bhp and 730 Nm while revving to an astonishing 10,000 rpm, making the Temerario the first production super sports car capable of reaching such engine speeds. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Performance figures are equally impressive, with the Temerario sprinting from 0-100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 343kmph. The battery can be recharged in approximately 30 minutes via plug-in charging, regenerative braking or directly through the V8 engine.
Sharper design with enhanced aerodynamics
While retaining Lamborghini's signature wedge-shaped silhouette, the Temerario introduces a more aggressive and aerodynamic design language. The front end features slim headlamps positioned above distinctive hexagonal LED daytime running lights, while a sculpted bonnet and large air intakes enhance both aesthetics and airflow management.
The side profile is characterised by 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels, pronounced side skirts and large air vents positioned behind the doors. At the rear, a centrally mounted high-exit exhaust system is complemented by hexagonal tail lamps, creating a visual link to the Revuelto and reinforcing Lamborghini's futuristic design direction.
Every element of the bodywork has been engineered to improve cooling, stability and aerodynamic efficiency while showcasing the mid-mounted powertrain.
Fighter jet-inspired cockpit
Inside, the Temerario follows Lamborghini's "Feel Like a Pilot" philosophy with a driver-focused cabin inspired by the Revuelto. The dashboard incorporates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch vertically oriented infotainment touchscreen and a 9.1-inch passenger display.
Premium materials such as carbon fibre, leather and Corsatex by Dinamica suede dominate the interior, while optional carbon-fibre sports seats further enhance the supercar experience. A fighter jet-inspired flip-up start-stop button, aviation-style controls and advanced Human-Machine Interface (HMI) technology add to the sense of occasion.
The cabin also offers improved practicality through additional storage spaces, while the driver's seat features 18-way electric adjustment along with heating and ventilation functions.
13 driving modes and advanced technology
The Temerario has been designed to deliver both track-ready performance and everyday usability. It offers 13 driving modes, including Citt, Strada, Sport and Corsa, alongside hybrid-specific settings such as Recharge, Hybrid and Performance.
An advanced electric torque vectoring system and e-4WD architecture help optimise agility, traction and stability across varying road conditions. The hybrid system also enables short-distance electric-only driving, enhancing efficiency without compromising Lamborghini's signature driving character.
Safety equipment includes ABS with EBD, multiple airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, as well as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
With the first customer delivery now completed, the Temerario not only opens a new chapter for Lamborghini customers in India but also underscores the Italian marque's commitment to electrified performance and future-ready innovation in one of its fastest-growing markets.
