Tata Punch EV facelift launch highlights: Updated Punch EV launched at Rs 9.69 lakh

With the Punch EV facelift, Tata has introduced a new 30kWh battery pack.

The Tata Punch EV offers a 10-25-inch instrument panel and a 10.25-inch infotainment system.

Tata has launched the new Punch EV at Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). 

As per Tata, 56 per cent of Punch EV buyers are below 40 years of age 78 per cent of buyers use the Punch EV as their primary car.

According to Tata, the carmaker never blamed the lack of EV infrastructure in India and took the challenge to improve it.

According to Tata, "India has already gone electric," a clear jibe at another carmaker.

The Punch EV also gets i-High Beam Assist with smart detection and alerts as a standard safety feature. The system notifies the driver if the high beam remains on when another vehicle is detected ahead. It operates at speeds between 10kmph and 40kmph.

The kerb weight of the new Punch EV is 1360kg and 55 per cent is front bias and 45 per cent is rear.

The ground clearance of the new Punch EV is 195mm and a water wading depth of 450mm.
