Fortuner, Innova, Hyryder: Toyota records 48% sales growth in November
Toyota sells models like the Glanza, Urban Cruiser Taisor, Rumion, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, Hilux, Fortuner, Legender, Camry, Vellfire and Land Cruiser 300 in India.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded sales of 26,323 units in November 2024, logging in a growth of 48% year-on-year (y-o-y) over 17,818 units sold in November 2023.
However, November 2024 sales of 26,323 units are 15% month-on-month (m-o-m) lower than the 30,845 units sold in October 2024. Carmakers have reduced their wholesale despatches to dealerships as retail sales have taken a hit due to subdued demand.
During the period from April to November FY25, Toyota's volume has grown by 34% y-o-y at 2,19,791 units from 1,63,636 units in April-November FY24.
Toyota claimed that the impressive performance is driven by strong market demand for its MPVs and SUVs portfolio. The company offers MPVs like Rumion, Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross and Vellfire. The SUV portfolio includes Urban Cruiser Taisor, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Fortuner, Legender, and Land Cruiser 300.
Toyota is furnishing exclusive year-end benefits of over Rs 1 lakh on select models, including the Urban Cruiser Taisor, Glanza and Rumion (excluding CNG variants). The offers are available till December 31, 2024.
