Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, along with his wife and family, visited the Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matha in Jayanagar 5th Block, Bengaluru. They were accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Narayana Murthy and her husband, Narayana Murthy.
During their visit, the Sunaks offered prayers and lit lamps as part of the Kartika Masa observance in the presence of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. The senior manager of the Matha, RK Vadindracharya, blessed them with the sacred cloth and Phal Mantrakshate of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. The temple priests and staff welcomed them with Vedic chants and a traditional ceremonial reception.
