Delhi-NCR Transport strike Highlights: A three-day strike announced by transport unions began in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Thursday, affecting commuters and disrupting travel plans. The strike by the All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC), an apex body of truckers, private bus, taxi and maxi cab operators, is demanding a fare hike and rollback of the Delhi government's decision to hike the environment compensation cess.
