Delhi's Mungeshpur records 52.3°C, city's highest-ever temperature

Delhi on Wednesday recorded its highest ever temperature with the mercury touching 52.3 degrees Celsius in Mungeshpur.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi's Mungeshpur weather station recorded the temperature. Several parts of north India have been reeling under severe heatwave conditions for the last couple of days.
