An ex-Army man allegedly killed his wife, dismembered her body, and boiled the remains in a pressure cooker before dumping them in a lake in Telangana's Hyderabad. The crime was uncovered after the woman’s parents filed a missing person report, police said. The victim, 35-year-old Venkat Madhavi, was reported missing on January 18 by her parents at the Meerpet Police Station, suspecting foul play. During the investigation, the gruesome details emerged. According to the police, Gurumurthy, the accused, killed his wife over suspicions, dismembered her body, and attempted to destroy evidence by cooking parts of it in a pressure cooker.
