Man spikes woman's coffee, rapes her with aides for 3 days in Lucknow
The accused in the case includes a man whom the woman has known for nearly four years, according to the police. The survivor is a UPSC aspirant who studies at a college in Delhi.

A young woman was allegedly held captive and gang-raped over three days in Lucknow by a purported acquaintance of hers and his two associates, police said. The survivor, who studies at a college in Delhi and is also a UPSC aspirant, was raped multiple times by the accused, who used sedatives mixed in coffee to make her lose consciousness, per the FIR in the case.
The woman was visiting her home in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur during her holidays. After spending the college break at home, she was set to return to Delhi via the Suheldev Express.
She boarded the train and sent a WhatsApp message to a man named Shivam Yadav, whom she had known for at least four years, after the train departed the station, the police said.
As soon as the train arrived at Lucknow's Charbagh station, the man, along with his friend, Sunny Yadav, reached there. According to the FIR, the duo insisted and convinced the woman to get off the train and took her to an apartment in the city.
At the flat, Shivam allegedly raped her after spiking her coffee with sleeping pills. Sunny is accused of sexually assaulting the woman multiple times the next day, on May 16, when Shivam was purportedly not home.
The apartment was allegedly locked from the outside whenever the accused left. The survivor told the police that on May 17, a third man, whom she did not know, also visited the flat.
She alleged that the three men kept her confined there until the afternoon of May 18 and took turns raping her. Later the same day, the accused allegedly took her to the Charbagh railway station and forced the woman into a sleeper coach of the Suheldev Express headed for Delhi.
When the train was about to reach Bareilly, the student called her father and told him about her ordeal, the police said. Her father then contacted a railway helpline. Subsequently, a Government Railway Police (GRP) team traced the woman on the train and extended assistance to her.
She was later taken to the Anand Vihar police station in Delhi, where a 'zero FIR' was registered in the presence of her family, police said. The woman's father said his daughter has gone into a state of deep shock since the incident.
He said, "We just want justice; these criminals must be killed in an encounter." The police in Lucknow said that they have received the 'zero FIR' and that multiple teams have been formed to track down the accused, including the unidentified man.
