Lucknow toddler falls into water-filled tub while playing in bathroom, dies
The toddler lost his balance while attempting to wash a glass in the bathroom. However, she lost control and fell into the tub.
A two-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow died after falling into a water-filled tub while playing in the bathroom.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning. Around 8 am, when the family members were busy in the kitchen, she went close to the tub while attempting to wash a glass. However, she soon lost her balance and fell into the tub and became unconscious.
Meanwhile, noticing her absence in the house, the family members soon began the search. After a brief period of time, they found her lying unconscious in the washroom and immediately took her to the nearby community health centre.
Upon arrival, the doctors conducted an initial check-up and declared her dead shortly.
The incident has cast a spell of grief among the family members. As per the victim’s father, Sonu Rawat, who works as a labourer, the two-year-old was the younger of his two daughters, and the incident had created a devastating impact on the other members of the family.
