Caught on camera: Car knocks down on-duty Lucknow traffic cop, driver arrested

A traffic police constable was injured after he was hit by a car while he was on duty in Lucknow. The accident was caught on a CCTV camera installed at the spot.

Traffic constable, Amit Kumar, was on duty at the city's intersection when a car coming from Kanpur hit him from behind, making him fall on the road. The car driver did not stop and sped away.

Amit's shoulder got fractured and he was admitted to the hospital.

The car driver, Abhishek Das, was later arrested with the help of the CCTV footage recovered from the spot.
