Kotak Mahindra Bank founder Uday Kotak on future of banking, building robust financial ecosystem

Speaking at the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2023, Kotak Mahindra Bank founder Uday Kotak said that the Indian banks are in phenomenally good shape. 

He was speaking at the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2023.

Kotak, who recently resigned from his position as the MD and CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank, said India is extremely well-positioned to achieve higher growth, amid the ongoing geopolitical and economic shift of powers. 

He explained how India has managed to keep its economy steady, supported by a robust financial system, accommodating policies and geopolitical positioning, at a time when formidable economies like China and US are facing a slump in the wake of a global slowdown.
