Centre ropes in PSU BIBCOL to ramp up production of Covaxin

The central government has roped in its biotechnology PSU BIBCOL, pioneer in the country's polio vaccination project, to ramp up the production of the indigenously developed Covid vaccine Covaxin.

BIBCOL has set up a specialised lab and will roll out 1 crore doses of Covaxin every month from September onwards.
