After blood clots were reported among those who took Astrazeneca's Covid vaccine, many nations have suspended its use in its vaccination drives. It started with the death of a 49-year-old nurse in Austria due to blood clots days after receiving a dose of the anti-covid vaccine.

While Austria, suspended the administration of the vaccine from a particular batch from AstraZeneca, Denmark stopped giving the vaccine altogether. And now, Germany, France, Italy, Spain too have joined the list of nations that have suspended the vaccine developed by Oxford University and produced by AstraZeneca.
