Covishield is perfectly safe, says Adar Poonawalla

Covishield is one of the two vaccines for Covid-19 approved by India's drug regulator for emergency use.

CEO of Serum Institute of India Adar Poonawalla, speaking to India Today, assured that the vaccine is safe and effective and will prevent hospitalisation. He further commented on the problems reported with blood clots and said, ''only scientific reports would be considered to justify whether this is a reaction of the vaccine''.
