E-Conclave Corona Series: Drugs, vaccines to combat virus on their way, says Dr Siddhartha Mukherjee

India continues to combat the coronavirus pandemic, which has infected more than 13,000 in the country. India Today, as its part of the E-Conclave Corona Series, spoke to Pulitzer-winning author and cancer surgeon Dr Siddhartha Mukherjee on Thursday. In an exclusive discussion, Dr Mukherjee said that Covid-19 drugs and vaccines are on their way. However, we need time.

"The main thing we want is to buy time until we get a good vaccine or drugs. There are drugs coming, there is hope at the end of this tunnel, a vaccine will come. Everyone’s job is to buy us time.
