The Indian Air Force (IAF) transport planes will supply Covid-19 vaccines to remotest parts of the country. The IAF will also be using its military airfields and advanced landing grounds for transporting the vaccines to the remotest part of the country.
The country's drugs regulator on Sunday had approved Oxford-AstraZeneca's Covishield and indigenously developed Covaxin of Bharat Biotech for restricted emergency use in the country.
And on Tuesday, the Health Ministry said it is prepared for Covid-19 vaccine rollout within ten days of the vaccines getting approved for restricted emergency use on January 3.
