India reports 1,68,912 fresh Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

On Monday, India reported 1,68,912 fresh Covid-19 cases in 24 hours. The country's daily Covid tally has been rising steeply during the second wave of the virus.

India reported 1,26,789 new cases on April 8. Four days later, the daily tally is up by more than 40,000 cases at 1,68,912.
