India has enough oxygen, there's shortage of tankers, cylinders: Dr Sangita Reddy | EXCLUSIVE

As the oxygen emergency worsens the Covid crisis, India Today TV Consulting Editor Rajdeep Sardesai spoke to Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint MD, Apollo Hospitals Group, on how to fix it. She said that India is not short of oxygen, but there is a shortage of oxygen tankers and cylinders.

"Every oxygen tanker has to be treated like an ambulance and allowed to move quickly. Consumption has risen five-fold, but India has enough oxygen. The shortage is actually of tankers and cylinders. That's going to take a few days. In the meantime, we have to ensure the highest optimisation. We must believe that every life is priceless and must invest in the healthcare industry," Dr Sangita Reddy said.
