Zydus Cadila's Covid-19 vaccine to be administered in 7 states first: Govt sources

As per sources, the Government of India has approved Zydus Cadila's Covid-19 vaccine ZyCoV-D for adults. The vaccine will first be administered in districts where the first dose coverage is low in seven states and then be rolled out at the national level.

The seven states include Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, among others.
