The controversy around CBSE’s post-result system is no longer limited to individual grievances. Over the past few days, students have shared complaints on social media alleging answer sheet mismatches, missing pages in scanned copies and discrepancies during the re-evaluation process.
Some students claim the copies provided by CBSE do not match their handwriting, while others have raised concerns over incomplete answer sheets.
The debate gained traction after Class 12 students Vedant and Sanjana alleged that the scanned answer sheets shared by CBSE did not match their handwriting.
Their claims brought renewed attention to CBSE’s On-Screen Marking (OSM) mechanism introduced this year.
During a recent press briefing, the board stated that over 13,000 answer sheets out of nearly 9.8 million evaluated copies were manually checked after discrepancies were detected.
The disclosure has raised further questions over whether the students’ copies were among those reviewed.
