RBSE Rajasthan Board Class 5th, 8th Results 2026 out highlights: Shala Darpan results at rajshaladarpan.nic.in, girls lead by 1.05% in Class 8

The Rajasthan Board has recorded strong results in both Class 5 and Class 8 examinations this year. In Class 5, a total of 13,68,947 students appeared across 18,621 centres, out of which 13,23,936 students passed, taking the pass percentage to 97.75%.

In Class 8, 12,86,220 students appeared at 10,056 centres, with 12,45,735 students clearing the exam. The overall pass percentage for Class 8 stands at 97.01%.

Together, over 25 lakh students have successfully passed across both levels, reflecting consistent performance in primary and upper primary education in the state.

The Rajasthan Board has reported high pass percentages in both Class 5 and Class 8 results this year. While Class 5 recorded a pass percentage of 97.75%, Class 8 saw 97.01% of students clearing the exam.

The data reflects consistent performance at the primary and upper primary levels across the state.

In Class 8, a total of 12,86,220 students appeared for the examination held across 10,056 centres.

Of these, 12,45,735 students have successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 97.01%.

Following the declaration of the RBSE Class 5 and Class 8 results, Education Minister Madan Dilawar congratulated students on their performance. The results were announced through the Shala Darpan portal, bringing relief to lakhs of students and parents across Rajasthan.

With the Class 5 results now declared, students will move to the upper primary stage, marking a shift in academic structure. The transition to Class 6 introduces more subject-focused learning, making this a key step in a student’s academic journey. Schools are expected to begin the admission and section allocation process soon.
 

The online result is provisional. Students will receive their original marksheets from their respective schools in the coming days.

A total of 30,640 students have been placed in the supplementary category in one or more subjects. The Rajasthan Board will conduct the supplementary examinations in July 2026.

Among Class 5 students in Rajasthan, a total of 7,14,612 government school students have cleared the examination.

From private schools, 6,49,964 students passed, showing the distribution of examinees across government and private school ecosystems in the state.

In the Rajasthan Board Class 5 and 8 results, students are awarded subject-wise grades rather than aggregate marks.

The grading system follows a five-category scale (A to E):

Grade A: 81–100 (highest)
Grade B: 61–80
Grade C: 33–60
Grade D: 33–32
Grade E: 0–32 (lowest)

Each student’s grade is determined based on individual subject performance, ensuring a more focused evaluation of learning outcomes.

A total of 12,45,735 students have cleared the Rajasthan Class 8 examination out of 12,86,220 candidates who appeared this year.

With a high overall pass count, the results are now available online, and students can check their scores through the official portals.

Girls have once again outperformed boys in both Class 5 and Class 8 results this year.

In Class 5, girls recorded a 97.94% pass rate, slightly higher than boys at 97.59%, marking a 0.35 percentage point lead.

The gap widens in Class 8, where girls achieved 97.57%, compared to boys at 96.52%, which is a 1.05 percentage point difference, highlighting a stronger edge at the upper primary level.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the Class 10 Results 2026, with girls outperforming boys in overall pass percentage this year. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 94.20%, while boys secured 93.63%.

In a notable change, the board declared the Class 10 results before the Class 12 results, departing from the usual trend followed in previous years.

Students must secure minimum passing marks in each subject. Those who don’t meet the criteria may be eligible for supplementary exams as per board guidelines.

More than 68,000 students placed in the supplementary category across Class 5 and Class 8 will get another opportunity to improve their performance in exams scheduled for July 2026. In Class 5, a total of 30,640 students have been declared eligible for the supplementary examination. Meanwhile, 38,276 students from Class 8 will also reappear to enhance their results.
