The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 Result 2026 earlier than its usual May timeline, with sources indicating that the results could be declared as soon as tomorrow, although an official confirmation from the board is still awaited. In its latest update of Digilocker notification, students are advised to create their DigiLocker accounts to ensure smooth access to their marksheets once the results are released.
As per the official DigiLocker notification, students who do not have an APAAR ID must create one, while those who already have an APAAR ID linked with CBSE will be able to access their marksheets directly in the ‘Issued Documents’ section after the declaration.

Students can also check their scores online, via DigiLocker, the UMANG app, and SMS services once the results are declared.
Results for the Class 12 board exams, which concluded after the Class 10 exams, are expected to be announced at a later date.
This year, about 25,08,319 students appeared for the exam, including 14,08,546 boys and 10,99,773 girls, across 83 subjects and 8,075 centres.
This year, CBSE is following a revised academic structure, which has helped the board complete the evaluation process slightly ahead of previous years, in alignment with upcoming academic requirements. The move is also linked to the board’s plan to provide students with an opportunity to improve their performance through a second examination phase scheduled to be held between May 15 and June 1, 2026.
The Class 10 board examinations for 2026 were conducted from February 17 to March 11 in a single shift beginning at 10:30 am.
Once released, students can check their CBSE 10th results on official websites such as cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in by entering their roll number, date of birth, school number, and admit card ID. To ease access during high traffic, CBSE will also make results available through DigiLocker and the UMANG app, along with SMS-based services.
The Phase 1 result will play a key role this year, as it will determine students’ eligibility for improvement examinations, where they will be allowed to reappear in up to three subjects, offering a structured chance to enhance their scores within the same academic cycle.
