NEET-UG paper leak case: One person detained in Nashik

The investigation into the NEET UG paper leak has expanded to Nashik, Maharashtra. Based on information from the Rajasthan Police, the Nashik Crime Branch detained a suspect from the Indira Nagar area. Authorities suspect the physical copies of the examination paper were leaked from Nashik and subsequently transported to Haryana and other northern states. The Rajasthan Special Operations Group identified the detained individual as someone who allegedly held meetings regarding the leak before the exams. The Central Bureau of Investigation is currently probing the case to trace the complete route of the leaked papers, including connections to Gurugram and other regions. Meanwhile, students and educators are expressing their frustration over the situation. Aspirants Ayushi and Dhanvi, along with physics teacher Manish Goel, highlighted the negative impact of the paper leak and the subsequent cancellation of the examination on the morale of the candidates who had prepared for the medical entrance test.
