EC files FIR against Milind Deora for violating poll code

The Election Commission on Friday filed an FIR against Congress candidate from South Mumbai Milind Deora for violating the Model Code of Conduct during a campaign speech earlier this month.

During his speech at a campaign rally in Mumbai on April 4, Milind Deora said that his fight is not with BJP but with Shiv Sena. He also said that people should teach Shiv Sena a lesson with their votes for insulting Jain sentiments.
