Rahul vetoes idea to field Priyanka from Varanasi

Congress president Rahul Gandhi has vetoed the idea of sister Priyanka Gandhi contesting from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat, after hectic internal consultations, according to party sources.

There had been indications earlier of Priyanka Gandhi being fielded as the Congress candidate to take on Prime Minister Modi in Varanasi.
