Rahul files nomination from Wayanad, three-way contest for seat 

Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency will witness a triangular contest between Congress's Rahul Gandhi, Communist Party of India's (CPI) PP Suneer and Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Thushar Vellappally.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday (April 4) filed his nomination from Kerala's Wayanad constituency for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Rahul Gandhi was accorded a grand welcome by Congress workers and supporters as he landed in Wayanad by chopper along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
