Daily election wrap: More exits from Congress, PM's Wayanad results forecast, and more

Welcome to today's daily election wrap. High-profile exits from the Congress continued amid the poll season. 

Tajinder Singh Bittu, a close aide of Priyanka Gandhi, and Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, the wife of two-time Jalandhar MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary, joined the BJP today.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the BJP's campaign in Nanded and Parbhani in Maharashtra and Karnataka today. Calling Rahul Gandhi "Congress's sahabzade", PM Modi said he will lose the Wayanad seat this time, just like he lost Amethi in 2019.

On the opposition's side, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi held rallies in Bihar and Kerala respectively. Both the leaders accused the Modi government of caring for a handful of billionaires and posing a threat to the Constitution.
