Zayn Malik hospitalised ahead of UK show, says still recovering
Zayn Malik's much-awaited UK concert has been postponed due to a sudden health issue. As the singer focuses on recovery, organisers are working on new dates and will share updates, including refund options, soon.

A much-awaited return to the stage has hit an unexpected pause for British pop singer Zayn Malik. The 33-year-old was set to perform in the UK this week, but a sudden health setback has forced him to postpone the show, leaving fans disappointed as he continues to recover.
The former One Direction band member was scheduled to perform at Circuit in Kingston on April 13 at 9 pm, where he was expected to showcase new tracks from his latest album, KONNAKOL. However, the event has now been deferred as the singer continues to recover.
Concert promoters had confirmed the postponement, citing health concerns. Zayn later addressed fans through Instagram, sharing an update on his condition and expressing regret over the sudden change of plans.
"To my fans – thank you to all of you for your love & support now & always. It has been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering. Heartbroken that I can't see you all this week. I wouldn't be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding (sic)," he wrote, sharing a picture of himself from the hospital.
He added, "Thank you to the incredible hospital staff of Drs, nurses, cardiologist, management, admin and everyone who has helped along the way and continue to. You are all legends! Big big love xx z (sic)."
Here's his post:
He also acknowledged the care he received during his hospital stay, extending gratitude to the medical staff for their support.
The organisers have assured fans that efforts are underway to reschedule the performance, with new dates to be announced soon. Ticket holders have been advised to wait for further updates, with refund options likely to be available if the revised schedule does not work.
The official postponement announcement read, "Gutted to say Monday's ZAYN events are postponed due to illness - we send our best wishes to him for a speedy recovery. We'll be back to ticket holders later in the coming week. Thanks for your understanding and sorry again for the disappointment (sic)."
Zayn Malik, who recently released his fifth studio album KONNAKOL, announced the tour last month. The tour will span the UK, North America, South America and Mexico, beginning in Manchester in May and wrapping up in Miami by November. India and the wider Asian region are missing from the itinerary.
