In an exclusive interview with India Today's Bhavna Agarwal (@filmybugB), the cast and crew of a new comedy thriller series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed discussed the challenges of balancing dark humour with intense drama. Director David Gordon Green explained his approach to the show's tone, stating, "If there's a scene that's written very dramatically, I might try to sabotage it with some humorous interpretations of that scene." Actor Jake Johnson of Spiderverse fame spoke about playing unlikeable characters along with Jessy Hodges. He also mentioned that he wants to play a quintessential Bollywood hero. Brandon Flynn and Murray Bartlett spoke about Tatiana Maslany on what she offers as co-star. Charlie Hall discussed the writing, noting he was "sold by like page five of the pilot script because the tone is so immediately, um, unique." The team highlighted the collaborative and improvisational environment on set that allowed the series' humour to shine. The show is available on Apple TV.
