In her posts, Sonali described the conditions as deplorable, with rats in the kitchen nibbling on groceries and cockroaches found in the food. She mentioned that as a punishment, only one washroom was available for 17 contestants, where people smoked and ate food amidst litter and dead rats. The shortage of supplies led to contestants using each other's napkins and towels.
Sonali captioned her video, "Beyond the glamour lies a dark reality of exploitation. I entered #BBMarathi6 with trust but left with a contagious disease. It’s time to hold the makers accountable (sic)."
