Chef Pankaj Bhadouria, who recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer, is one of India’s most recognised television chefs and the first winner of MasterChef India. The celebrity chef shared the news on social media on May 28, thanking her followers for their support and asking them to keep her in their prayers.

On Thursday, Bhadouria shared a photograph from the hospital showing her lying on a bed in a patient gown, with medical wires attached to her. Alongside the image, she wrote, “I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Need your prayers and support,” followed by a folded hands emoji.
