Good news: Girls outshine boys in Class 12th CBSE results

Girls outshone boys in the CBSE Class 12 examination, the results of which were declared on May 2 way ahead of schedule, with Thiruvananthapuram region recording the highest pass percentage.

"Girls have a pass percentage of 88.70 which is 9 percentage points more than that of boys' 79.40 percent. Transgenders have a pass percentage of 83.3 percent," a senior board officials said.
