Wild elephant spotted with twin calves in Jim Corbett National Park

Forest officials in Uttarakhand have witnessed a rare and extraordinary sighting deep inside the forests of the Jim Corbett National Park. A wild elephant was spotted moving through the jungle accompanied by her twin calves. Wildlife experts have highlighted the significance of this event, explaining that twin births among elephants are extremely uncommon in the wild. According to an Indian Forest Service officer, such twin births account for less than one percent of all elephant births, making this a highly unusual occurrence.
