Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the World Economic Forum 2018's plenary session today in Davos. Modi is the first Indian PM to attend the annual WEF summit and is the first Indian PM to attend the forum's plenary session.
India Today's Editor-in-Chief Aroon Purie was among the dignitaries present at the WEF.
"PM Modi has done a lot of work in terms of changing the investment climate in India. Money needs to come in. The bureaucracy has to be trimmed down, and it's a work in progress. Modi coming here is a signal that India is ready for investments. Modi government is out their to deliver."
