A day after UPA chief and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi said that the BJP will lose the elections of 2019, Union minister Nitin Gadkari today said that such statements are far from reality.
"People will once again vote for Modi," a confident Nitin Gadkari said on the Day 2 of the India Today Conclave in Mumbai and dismissed Sonia Gandhi's statement as "Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne".
"We have reached Northeast, we will perform well in Kerala and West Bengal," said Gadkari, adding that it is obvious for any Opposition party to say the ruling party will lose the next election.
He said the BJP was never a party of Vajapayee, neither of Advani, and nor of Shah, it has always been a party of workers.
