Watch: Challenges Dalits face in India

Dalits form 16.6 per cent of India's population but still fighting for equal citizenship and rights. Over the years, there have been many cases of Dalits been stripped, flogged and killed for riding horses, drinking at a well, getting a haircut and even for sitting cross-legged.
