40 per cent commission charges against BS Yediyurappa false, BJP claims

The Karnataka unit of the BJP on Sunday claimed that an investigation by the Lokayukta found that the 40 per cent commission charges against the previous government led by BS Yediyurappa levelled by the Congress are 'false'.

They called the commission charges against the Yediyurappa government 'Congress's toolkit'.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that he had not yet seen the report and noted that in several cases acquittal happens, for want of evidence.

Reacting to the development, Yediyurappa said that the Lokayukta probe had said the allegations were false. "I appeal to them (Congress leaders) to speak carefully hereon, understanding that making such false allegations is of no use," he said.
