Raghav Chadha Quits AAP Highlights: The public fallout between the AAP and its Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha witnessed a decisive escalation on Friday, when the parliamentarian, announced leaving the party alongside fellow MPs Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal. The trio addressed a joint press briefing and named many other AAP MPs who also quit the party, including disgruntled leader Swati Malliwal and Harbhajan Singh. Soon after, the trio joined the BJP at its headquarters in the presence of party chief Nitin Nabin. The four remaining AAP MPs, including Singh and Malliwal, will join the saffron side later. Chadha, Pathak and Mittal said they have the backing of as many as 10 Rajya Sabha MPs of AAP. The move caused a political storm, with the AAP labelling the defectors "traitors" and slamming the BJP's poaching tactics under 'Operation Lotus'.
