Kamal Haasan files nomination for Rajya Sabha seat

Kamal Haasan, leader of Makkal Needhi Mayyam (MNM), has filed his nomination for a Rajya Sabha seat at the secretariat, supported by the ruling DMK. The actor-turned-politician was accompanied by Chief Minister MK Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, and other political leaders. Haasan's nomination comes after his party's alliance with DMK, marking a shift from his previous criticism of the party. He stated his decision was 'for the nation'.
