Yogi Adityanath warns against LPG panic buying, calls out rumour mongers in UP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a warning against rumour mongers attempting to create panic over LPG cylinder availability in the state. Amid concerns linked to the ongoing war in West Asia affecting India, Adityanath cautioned citizens against falling prey to malicious propaganda and advised them to exercise vigilance and trust the government. He questioned why people are rushing to procure LPG cylinders within five to six days when they previously lasted for a month, and emphasised there is no need to queue up for buying LPG. The Chief Minister has directed district administrations to take strict action against those trying to create panic and hoard cylinders beyond their requirement. Ground reports show queues forming at LPG distribution points as people attempt to stockpile, prompting the government's reassurance that there is no shortage of LPG cylinders in the state.
