1 killed in police firing in Bihar's Katihar during power outage protest

One protester was killed and three others were injured in police firing in Bihar's Katihar district during a protest over power cuts.The injured protesters have been rushed to a nearby hospital.

The incident took place near Barsoi town where hundreds of villagers had gathered outside the electricity department to protest against the irregular supply of electricity and higher power tariffs.
