2.31 lakh samples tested for coronavirus so far: ICMR

Briefing the media on the fight against coronavirus, ICMR Deputy Director Dr Raman Gangakhedkar today said that till Monday 2,31,902 samples were tested.

Gangakhedkar said, "Until yesterday, we had tested 2,31,902 samples so far. While yesterday 21,635 samples were tested out of which 18644 were tested in ICMR network of labs while 2991 were tested in private labs. As of now we have 166 labs under the ICMR network, 70 private labs have already been approved.
