61 MLAs in our camp: Rebel TMC MLA Ritabrata's floor test challenge to Mamata

In an exclusive conversation, rebel TMC MLA and West Bengal Leader of Opposition Ritabrata Banerjee claimed that her camp now enjoys the support of 61 MLAs, with numbers continuing to grow. Expelled from the Trinamool Congress but recognised by the Assembly Speaker as the Leader of Opposition, Banerjee said the movement is a collective fight against "individualism" and hinted that some MPs are also in touch with the rebel camp. He sharply criticised TMC leadership, questioned the party's response to its election defeat, and alleged growing dissatisfaction within the organisation. Banerjee also claimed he received congratulatory calls from members of the Banerjee family after her rebellion, describing her stand as a challenge to what she called a "despotic mindset" within the party.
