Alwar lynching victim chargesheeted: Congress hypocrisy exposed?

The Rajasthan Police filed a chargesheet against Alwar lynching victim Pehlu Khan and his sons, Irshad and Aarif, for allegedly transporting cattle without state's permission.

Meanhwile, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday hit out at Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in Rajasthan soon after a chargesheet was filed against dairy farmer Pehlu Khan.

"When Pehlu Khan was attacked, the Congress party had condemned it. It's a condemnable act by the Ashok Gehlot government," said Asaduddin Owaisi.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday said police probe into Pehlu Khan's lynching in 2017 will be re-investigated if needed.
